The Developing Point of Control (dPOC) is the real-time price level with the highest traded volume during the current trading session, which shifts dynamically as new volume is printed throughout the day. Unlike the final POC that is fixed after the session closes, the dPOC updates continuously and gives intraday traders a live reference for where the most activity is occurring. It is a key component of volume profile and market profile analysis used by day traders and scalpers.
