About Kava

Kava is a Layer 1 blockchain that combines the speed and interoperability of the Cosmos SDK with the developer power of Ethereum. The Kava Network features a co-chain architecture merging an EVM-compatible execution environment with a Cosmos SDK environment, enabling developers to build in Solidity or Go. Kava provides decentralized lending, borrowing, and stablecoin services, and its Kava Rise and Kava Lend programmes incentivise protocol development across DeFi verticals.
