About Solana

Solana is a high-performance blockchain platform designed for decentralized applications and crypto-native projects. Known for its exceptionally fast transaction speeds (up to 65,000 TPS) and low fees, Solana uses a unique Proof of History consensus mechanism combined with Proof of Stake. Founded by Anatoly Yakovenko and launched in 2020, Solana has become a major hub for DeFi, NFTs, and meme coin trading. The ecosystem includes popular protocols like Jupiter, Raydium, Marinade, and the Phantom wallet.
